NATE Certified Technicians, What It Means For You

Posted December 9, 2014

North American Technician Excellence, or NATE, is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1997 to provide intensive training to individuals on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration. To obtain NATE certification, technicians must pass a NATE exam to demonstrate knowledge about installing and servicing heating and air conditioning systems. Technicians are only required to be certified in either installation or service, but they can choose to become certified in both.

Technicians can choose from the a range of specialties: air conditioning, air distribution, heat pumps, gas furnaces, oil furnaces, hydronics gas, hydronics oil, and Senior HVAC Efficiency Analyst.

When you choose ABC and our NATE-certified technicians you're ensuring that your installation or service will be performed by a technician who is highly knowledgeable and qualified. It's the peace of mind that comes from NATE certification and ABC's comprehensive set of Guarantees.
